We’re going to call in ‘Beary Cove’

We saw lots of black bears here including a mama and 3 cubs. It was fun to watch and observe them.

We put out the crab pot mid-day and in one haul, got 25(!!!) crabs! 7 were keepers and 8 is our limit between the two of us. We put it back down to soak overnight and got 1 more keeper in the morning.

There were lots of mosquitoes in the evening and the itchiness was so bad, it prevented me from getting a good night’s sleep. I think in addition to getting a mosquito bite, I think I’m allergic to mosquitoes because I get a swollen welt where I get a mosquito bite.

Overall, we really enjoyed this spot and I hope we visit again soon in the future.
