Shearwater part 2
We arrived at Shearwater and first things first, we filled up our Diesel tank.
We’re thankful to have a spot at the dock after hearing nothing from the marina via email over the past few days.
I did laundry, did a trash/recycle run, and provisioned (got groceries). The grocery store was quite thin compared to when we were here before. The cashier said it’s because they get their freight in 2 days.
On the outside of the grocery store is a community board. I happen to notice flyers for when the doctors would be in town and tried to imagine what that would be like.
We ate dinner with our Canadian friends at the fisherman’s bar and grill. I had their special of the day which was a massive pork loin and Brian got a pizza. We both enjoyed our meals and the luxury of having someone else make dinner and do the dishes for us.
