We are in Port McNeil and it’s still June!!!.. What!!!

We’ve got a lot to talk about and decide. For now, time to do some errands.

We heard someone mention that there was going to be a ukulele concert starting at 7 in the local theater.

That sounded super unique, so we went. And it was indeed super unique. The highlight was the playing of the typewriter.

On our second night here, we met another boat joining the flotilla, “Ocean symphony” and we had a meeting with everyone to go over float plans, and weather monitoring.

Current plan is to go to Port Alexander tomorrow, leaving at 600 hrs, and leave early tues to do cape caution. If weather changes and does not look good, we will stay in Port Alexander until we can safely cross.

After our meeting, we went to Gus’s Pub to share a meal and good company.
