In Johnstone Straight!
We’re doing it!! Rachel was at the helm most of the day while Brian was working. He did help with Chatham Channel though. The mental break was nice after the intense focus in Johnstone Strait making sure not to hit any logs.
We saw a young buck swimming across Johnstone Strait! I thought its antlers sticking out of the water were tree branches, but then realized it was something swimming. I had to go around it, so I didn’t hit it. Wild!!
In Wisconsin it’s common for a family member to say ‘watch for deer’ as you leave… I guess that’s true here too!!
