Jalapeno Poppers with Cream Cheese & Bacon

A simple keto-friendly appetizer that’s always a hit. Creamy, cheesy, and wrapped in bacon — what more could you want?

Ingredients

  • 6 medium jalapeños (halved lengthwise, seeded)
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/4 cup bacon bits (~6 slices)
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 4 minced garlic cloves
  • 3 Tbsp minced cilantro (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cook bacon if using fresh strips.
  3. Prepare vegetables — wash and deseed peppers (wear gloves!), chop aromatics.
  4. Mix cream cheese, cheddar, green onions, cilantro, and garlic together.
  5. Fill each pepper half with the cheese mixture.
  6. Top with bacon bits.
  7. Bake ~15 minutes until peppers soften and bacon crisps.
